Full-time MBA Curriculum
During your one-year MBA study in Tokyo, you’ll be required to work towards completing core modules in subjects covering business fundamentals. You’ll have the opportunity to choose elective classes, allowing you to specialize and find your kokorozashi. This is one of the most varied MBA programs Japan has to offer, covering everything from accounting and finance to marketing and strategy, and even venture capital management.

Application Process
1. Requirements
As practicality is the focus of our program, we look for participants who have quality hands-on working experience and will actively contribute to our discussion-based courses. Applicants need to satisfy the following eligibility requirements in order to be accepted into the Full-time MBA Program.
1. Minimum Age
You must be at least 22 years of age.
2. Degree
You must possess a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent degree.*
*If you do not have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent by the time of entrance, you will need to undergo a Preliminary Screening to determine if your background and work experience is sufficient.
3. Work Experience
You must have a minimum 2 years of professional working experience.*
4. Language Requirements
English proficiency (candidates who fulfill either of the following criteria are considered eligible)
- Native English speaker*
- English language proficiency test result: TOEFL iBT/TOEIC/IELTS/Cambridge CPE/Cambridge CAE
*Native speakers of English or graduates of university programs taught entirely in English are exempt.
2. Preliminary Screening
If you are 22 years of age but do not meet one or more of the admission requirements indicated above, you may still apply for the MBA programs, but will first need to pass a Preliminary Screening. Refer to the Full-time MBA Program Admission Guide for more details.
3. How to Apply
Step 1: Submit your Application
Open an account in the Online Admission Portal and submit the required application documents.
Step 2: Initial Result Notificaiton
Your initial screening is evaluated based on the information and documents you submitted with your application. Shortlisted applicants will receive their interview schedule at this time.
Step 3: Second Screening (Interview)
Participate in a 30-minute online interview.
Step 4: Final Result Notification
The Admissions Committee will evaluate your application and interview and then inform you of the final decision.
Step 5: Confirmation of Enrollment
Confirm whether you’d like to join our MBA program by the dates specified in the Application Schedule.

- Evidence of most recent net annual salary (GLOBIS Scholarship applicants only)
- Residence card copy (for non-Japanese applicants already living in Japan)

Tuition and Fees
1. Application Fee
- Applicants residing in Japan: 36,000 JPY (Approx. 88 OMR)
- Applicants living overseas: 15,000 JPY (Approx. 37 OMR)
Deadline: Before the application deadline.
Payment Method: Credit card.
The application fee cannot be reimbursed or deferred to another academic year.

- The enrollment fee is non-refundable.
- Any tuition you pay towards credits earned in the Pre-MBA (individual MBA courses) will be deducted from your Full-time MBA program’s total tuition.
- You can extend the program beyond 1 year by paying an extension fee of 310,000 JPY (755 OMR).
3. Payment Schedule
Enrollment Fee
Deadline: Within one month of confirming enrollment.
Tuition Fee
Deadline: Paid in full in early August.
4. Payment Method
Enrollment and tuition fees are payable by bank transfer or credit card*.
*Credit cards are accepted for international payments only.
Scholarships and Loans
GLOBIS Scholarships
All applicants to the Full-time MBA Program are eligible to apply for GLOBIS Scholarships. GLOBIS Scholarships can cover up to 50% of tuition and are available to students who demonstrate the potential to contribute to the GLOBIS community with exceptional academic performance and leadership skills.
GLOBIS Education Loan
GLOBIS University provides financial assistance in the form of GLOBIS Education Loans to non-Japanese students who are admitted to the Full-time MBA program and are studying on a student visa.
JASSO Scholarship
(MEXT Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students)
The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) offers scholarships for self-financed students who are expected to hold a student visa.
MEXT Scholarship (University Recommendation)
The MEXT Scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan. This scholarship is available only for non-Japanese applicants who pass the screening process in the November application round. This scholarship is extremely competitive, and only a limited number of applicants are selected.
MEXT Scholarship (Embassy Recommendation)
When seeking an embassy recommendation, the application process for your MEXT scholarship must begin before you apply to GLOBIS University. Please contact your local Japanese Embassy for more information. The benefits you receive are the same as the MEXT Scholarship (University Recommendation).
