Program overview
What is the Pre-MBA?
The GLOBIS Pre-MBA allows you to take individual courses from the GLOBIS MBA curriculum before applying for the full degree.
You will learn through the same discussion-led classes, practical business cases and decision-making exercises used in the MBA. Choose a subject that is relevant to your current work, explore a new area of management, or gradually complete eligible credits that may later be transferred to a GLOBIS MBA program.
Each course lasts 12 weeks and includes six live classes. Between sessions, you will prepare cases and assignments so that class time can focus on discussion, analysis and practical application.
Why Start With Pre-MBA?
A-la-carte course selection

Seasonal terms
Pre-MBA terms start in January, April, July, and October. Start your MBA journey without waiting for the next intake.
Course completion in 12 weeks
Boost your business knowledge, network, and resume in just 12 weeks.
Flexible format
Choose to study on campus in Tokyo or online from anywhere in the world.
Transferable credits

Online Pre-MBA Courses
In addition to selected hybrid courses in Muscat, you can access a selection of online Pre-MBA courses offered by GLOBIS University.
Course schedules vary by term. Before applying, check the session times carefully in your local time and make sure you can attend the live classes. Because discussion and participation are central to the learning experience, recordings are not a substitute for attendance unless a course explicitly stated otherwise.
What Our Students Say
Kenji Kawamura
2018 Part-time & Online MBA"The benefit of starting with the Pre-MBA is that you can start learning immediately with the specific knowledge you need. In my case, that was marketing. From there, you can decide whether to join a full MBA program. Another benefit of the GLOBIS Pre-MBA is that it helps you prepare for the full MBA workload later on. I only took one Pre-MBA class, so after I entered the full program, I had to take three classes per semester. That was tough. I sometimes did not have enough time to prepare for assignments. Taking several Pre-MBA classes beforehand is a great idea because you can take your time, and that enhances the quality of your learning experience later.”
